NJPW Announces Shane “Swerve” Strickland For Their 2022 Strong Style Evolved Event

An announcement was previously made by NJPW that the tapings of their 2022 Strong Style Evolved Event will take place on Sunday, March 20 from inside The Coliseum in St. Petersburg, Florida, but the show itself will air at a later date on NJPW Strong. Talents previously announced for next month's tapings include Hikuleo, Jay White, Juice Robinson, JONAH, Fred Rosser, Karl Fredericks, Clark Connors, Rocky Romero and NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion "Filthy" Tom Lawlor.

NJPW recently announced that former WWE Star Shane “Swerve” Strickland (Isaiah “Swerve” Scott) is set to appear at the 2022 Strong Style Evolved Event on Sunday, March 20. Swerve was released by WWE last November 18, 2021, alongside several other top talents reportedly due to budget cuts. Former WWE Star Shane “Swerve” Strickland, who signed with the promotion back in 2019, is a former one-time NXT North American Champion and the leader of the Hit Row stable.

Tickets for the show went on sale on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 12NN ET, with prices at $30, $50, $80 and $150. More information on the 2022 NJPW Strong Style Event and tickets can be found at this link.
