New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) recently announced, via a press release, that Jado was pulled from the company's New Japan Road 2022 Day 6 Event from Sunday due to a fever and that he would be replaced in the tag team matchup he was originally set to be a part of. Jado was set to team with Ryusuke Taguchi to face Los Ingobernables de Japon's BUSHI and Hiromu Takahashi in Tag Team action, but United Empire (Great-O-Khan and Aaron Henare) would end up facing BUSHI and Hiromu Takahashi instead.

Jado, who was scheduled to team with Ryusuke Taguchi against Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI on July 3 in Korakuen Hall, has presented with a fever. Although he has tested negative with both antigen and PCR testing for COVID, he will not compete this evening out of an abundance of caution.
We apologise to fans who were looking forward to seeing Jado wrestle, and appreciate your understanding.
The following change has been made to this evening’s card:
Jado & Ryusuke Taguchi vs Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI
Aaron Henare & Great-O-Khan vs Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI
