NJPW Announces Tetsuya Naito Will Miss Monday’s Road To Castle Attack Event Due To Injury

It was recently announced by NJPW that top NJPW Star Tetsuya Naito will be missing this Monday’s Road To Castle Attack Event due to a knee injury. Naito suffered the knee injury back on February 16th and he has yet to be given a green light or a clearance to return to in-ring competition. The match Naito was supposed to be in, where Tetsuya Naito and SANADA was set to battle Kota Ibushi and Tomoaki Honma has now been changed to SANADA vs. Tomoaki Honma.

According to a recent report from F4WOnline.com, Tetsuya Naito is still scheduled to face Kota Ibushi for Kota Ibushi's IWGP Intercontinental Championship on Sunday, February 28th at NJPW's Castle Attack Event from Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka, Japan.

As previously reported, NJPW announced that top NJPW Star Hiromu Takahashi was taken off the February 20th Road To Castle Attack Event as well due to a left shoulder injury. Updates will be provided once it has been made available.
