It was previously reported that pro wrestling veteran and top professional wrestling star Kota Ibushi is no longer under contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and he is currently a free agent. New Japan Pro Wrestling recently issued a press release confirming that the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is done with the company and that they wish him the best on his future endeavors.
Following the confirmation of his status as a free agent, several pro wrestling promotions have shown an interest in the top Japanese pro wrestling star such as AEW and WWE, but he is planning to explore his free agency and not sign with any promotion immediately. As previously reported, Kota Ibushi will be competing at the GCW Collective Event this coming spring in Los Angeles.
