NJPW recently held the third day of their Road To The New Beginning Event, which emanated from inside the Funabashi City General Gymnasium (Funabashi Arena) in Chiba, Japan. The show saw Kazuchika Okada, Tomoaki Honma, Shota Umino, Ryusuke Taguchi and YOH battle Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi, SANADA and BUSHI) in a 10-Man Tag Team Match in the main event.

- Toru Yano and Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Bullet Club (Gedo and KENTA) via disqualification in a Tag Team Match.
- TMDK (Kosei Fujita, Shane Haste, Mikey Nicholls and Zack Sabre Jr.) def. Ryohei Oiwa, YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishii and Hirooki Goto in an 8-Man Tag Team Match.
