Note on WWE Abandoning Plans to Have Live Audience for Royal Rumble

-- We reported late last year that WWE was intent on having a live audience for the Royal Rumble PPV, however, as the weeks went by, the chances of that happening became slimmer and slimmer until a new report surfaced this month saying that the plan was abandoned and that the PPV would move forward under the current ThunderDome format. The WrestleVotes account adds today that one of the main reasons WWE gave up on this front is because of the significant effort and time that would be needed to take apart the ThunderDome structure for one night, specifically referencing that the "manpower" and the "stress" was too much to make it all work. The company however continues to explore options for its first real live event with WrestleMania around the corner.
