NWA Announces Non-NWA Title Match For Their NWA 74 Night 2 Event On August 28th

The NWA (the National Wrestling Alliance) recently announced that the current MLW National Openweight Champion Davey Richards will be defending his MLW National Openweight Title against Thrillbilly Silas as part of their NWA 74 Night 2 PPV Event on Sunday, August 28 inside the Khorassan Ballroom at Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta in St. Louis, Missouri, which is set to air live on PPV and FITE TV with the Pre-Show airing for free on YouTube.

Davey Richards won the MLW National Openweight Championship by defeating Alex Kane at the Battle Riot IV Event, which was taped last June 23rd in New York City, but has yet to be aired. Richards has only had one title defense so far and that was against Rocky Romero at the NJPW Music City Mayhem PPV from Nashville, in which Richards walked out of still the MLW National Openweight Champion. Silas made his MLW (Major League Wrestling) debut in mid-June after working for the IWA-MS promotion for majority of his pro wrestling career.

Matches already announced for the NWA's 74 Night 2 PPV Event include NWA World's Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch vs. NWA World's Television Champion Tyrus for Murdoch's NWA World's Heavyweight Title, NWA World's Women’s Champion Kamille or her NWA 74 Night 1 challenger Taya Valkyrie vs. the winner of the Burke Invitational for the NWA World's Women's Championship, NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy and Kenzie Paige) vs. The Hex (Allysin Kay and Marti Belle) for the NWA's World Women's Tag Team Championships in a Street Fight, a Battle Royal to crown the company's new NWA United States Tag Team Champions and the legendary JJ Dillon will be making an appearance to possibly manage a team in the Tag Team Battle Royal.
