Tyler Breeze vs. Jushin Thunder Liger

From there, we shoot to the entrance area where Tyler Breeze makes his grand entrance to the ring for our first match of the evening.

Rich Brenan, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton officially welcome us to the show on commentary. From there, we shoot back to the entrance way where the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger makes his way down to the ring.

The fans go nuts for Liger, chanting his name once he gets in the ring. The bell sounds, the lights go down and it's time for our opening contest.

Breeze gets an early offensive advantage over Liger, so he leans on the top ropes and lays back, old-school Shawn Michaels style. Liger gains the upper hand now and he goes over and does the same thing to mock Breeze.

Liger gets Breeze in a surfboard submission hold. Breeze breaks free. The action picks up a bit, as the fast-paced offense sets the perfect tone for the evening. Liger knocks Breeze down, picks up his iPhone holder and takes a selfie to further mock Breeze.

Breeze finally establishes the offensive control in the match. Breeze dominates the action for a few minutes until Liger hits a big flip off the apron onto Breeze on the floor. Back in the ring, Liger hits the Liger-bomb on Breeze and covers him. 1-2-3. Jushin Thunder Liger kicks off NXT Takeover: Brooklyn with a victory.

After the backstage segment, we head back to the ring where everything goes black-and-white for the TV viewing audience. With that said, out comes The Vaudevillans. From there, Blake & Murphy's music hits, the fans boo, and out comes the NXT Tag-Team Champions.

Alexa Bliss gets on the mic and mocks The Vaudevillans for not having someone out to help them. Bliss calls them pathetic. The Vaudevillans call for their help. With that said, out comes Blue Pants to an awesome reception from the fans in Brooklyn. The fans actually chant "This is Awesome" before anything happens.

The fans chant "Blue Pants City" as Blue Pants and Alexa Bliss go out to the floor as the action begins in the ring. Gotch takes it to Blake early on, establishing control and then tagging his partner into the match. English hits a running boot to the face for a quick near fall.

Blake gets in a cheap shot on English on the floor. He tags in Murphy, who takes over control of the offense back inside the ring. The fans try and rally behind English, but Murphy stays on him.

Gotch slams both Blake & Murphy off the top rope leading into a swanton from English off the top rope. 1-2 ....two and a half. Bliss jumps on the apron to get involved but Blue Pants yanks her down and chases her around. They get into a cat fight, leading to English hitting his finisher. 1-2-3. We have new tag-team champions.

Tye Dillinger vs. Apollo Crews

From there, we head back to the ring where Tye Dillinger makes his way out. Out next is his opponent for tonight, Apollo Crews (aka Uhaa Nation). The bell sounds and here we go.

This one doesn't last long at all, as Crews basically dominates the action from beginning to end in what amounted to a glorified squash match "Takeover" debut for the former Uhaa Nation.

In the end, after dominating from bell-to-bell, Crews hits his new finisher and picks up the victory.

Winner: Apollo Crews

Baron Corbin vs. Samoa Joe

From there, a video package airs documenting the history between Baron Corbin and Samoa Joe. Then, Corbin makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boo's from the fans inside the Barclays Center. Out next is his opponent for this evening, Samoa Joe.

The fans go ape-sh*t for Joe, chanting and cheering the moment his music hits. The bell sounds and here we go with our next match of the evening here at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.

Early on, Joe goes for his submission finisher, so Corbin ducks out of the ring and takes a breather. Back inside the ring, Joe gets Corbin in a weird-ass submission hold. Joe cranks back on the arm of Corbin so Corbin gets his foot on the ropes, forcing a break of the hold.

Corbin takes over control of the offense and has been spending the past several minutes beating down the respected wrestling veteran. Joe gets a hope spot, as he looks for a Muscle Buster on Corbin, however Corbin cuts his attempt short and continues his dominance.

Baron Corbin goes for his End Of Days finisher, however Joe reverses it into a rear naked choke attempt. Corbin escapes and slams Joe down. Joe reverses Corbin back into his rear naked choke finisher. Eventually, Corbin passes out, so the ref calls for the bell.

Winner: Samoa Joe

More Recognizable Faces In Attendance

We see Ric Flair and Sgt. Slaughter, as well as Team B.A.D. all sitting ringside for tonight's NXT Takeover: Brooklyn special. We shoot back to the announce table, who begins to set up the next match here on tonight's show.

Stephanie McMahon Addresses The Crowd

Stephanie McMahon's music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. She gets in the ring and gets on the mic. She says there are 15,589 fans inside the Barclays Center here tonight and many more watching around the world on the WWE Network. She brings up the Divas Revolution and mentioned that it actually started right here in NXT.

NXT Women's Championship
- Bayley vs. Sasha Banks (c)

Stephanie McMahon then says it's an honor to introduce our first of two main events tonight. He mentions Sasha Banks and Bayley and then their pre-match video package airs. NXT Women's Championship action is up next here at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.

From there, Bayley's music hits, the fans pop like crazy and the ultimate underdog makes her way to the ring for this championship contest. Out next is her opponent for tonight, the current NXT Women's Champion and member of Team B.A.D. -- "The Boss" Sasha Banks.

Banks comes out in a car. Four security guards open the door for her and she struts her proud self down to the ring, raising the NXT Women's Championship high in the air. Once she reaches the ring, the security guards lift her up onto the apron.

The fans are electric for this one, as they erupt in split chants, with half of the fans chanting "Let's go Sasha" and the other half chanting "Let's go Bayley." The two trade turns in the offensive lead thus far. Bayley ties Banks upside down in the corner and hits a springboard elbow drop for a near fall.

Bayley gets in a couple more moves as the announcers point out she's way more serious than her usual fun-loving self. Wtih that said, Banks starts to take over control of the offense in this one. Banks goes after the knee of Bayley and knocks her off the top rope and out to the floor.

Bayley gets dumped out to the floor, so Sasha does an awesome spot. The ref is leaning between the top and middle ropes to look at Bayley on the floor. As he does that, Banks runs and flips off of the ref and onto Bayley on the floor.

Back in the ring, Banks gets Bayley locked in her Bank Statement submission finisher as the fans go nuts. Bayley reverses it. Banks gets her foot on the ropes to break the hold. The crowd goes nuts again with "NXT! NXT!" chants.

Bayley hits the Bayley-to-belly suplex for a close near fall. The fans break out into a loud "This Is Awesome!" chant. Bayley goes for a huracanrana off the top rope but Banks just shoves her. This results in Bayley taking a very bad, awkward looking landing. Banks simply jumps off the ropes onto Bayley and splashes on her, but Bayley kicks out during the pin attempt.

The two go back to the top rope and this time they hit an insane move. Bayley does like a backwards huracanrana to Banks. She follows that up with a Bayley-to-belly suplex. 1-2-3. We have a new NXT Women's Champion.

Winner and NEW NXT Women's Champion: Bayley

Triple H Announces NXT London

In video footage shown "earlier tonight," we see Triple H announce NXT's upcoming United Kingdom tour in December. HHH says NXT is going to take over the U.K. like never before, and tickets will be on sale soon for the shows scheduled from December 10th through December 16th.

NXT Championship (Ladder Match)
- Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor (c)

After the big women's post-match celebration, we switch gears and prepare for our main event of the evening. The video packages airs to tell the story behind tonight's ladder match for the NXT Championship between Finn Balor and Kevin Owens.

From there, we see Kevin Owens headed to the ring from the backstage area as the ominos main event music plays. Finally, Owens' theme hits and out he comes. Out next for tonight's NXT Takeover: Brooklyn main event is the NXT Champion -- Finn Balor.

Our ladder match main event of the evening for the NXT title is officially underway. After Balor finishes his entrance, the fans, as usual, chant "This is Awesome" and "That was Awesome." Meanwhile, we see Kevin Owens sitting in a chair outside the ring simply waiting for Balor to finish his thing.

The ring announcer does the formal introductions for this one since it is a title match main event. The fans boo Owens and cheer Balor as expected.

Owens dominates Balor early on. Balor hits Sling Blade to slow him down. We get our first glimpse of a ladder heading to the ring as Balor drags one behind him. Owens stops him and smashes the ladder into his mid-section over and over again.

The announcers point out that it's 11pm EST., noting that if they were on pay-per-view, they'd be forced to end the show, but because they're on the WWE Network and there's business still at hand, they're going to go long tonight.

Owens takes the top half of the announce table and slams it into Balor's skull. Then, he does Balor's pose to mock him. The fans chant we want tables as Owens pulls another ladder out from under the ring. Balor jumps off the announce table and dropkicks Owens down.

Balor gets up and throws the ladder into the ring. The fans join up and now pretty much everyone in the ring is chanting "We Want Tables." Balor hits a big dive onto Owens on the floor. The "NXT! NXT! NXT!" chants break out again.

"Let's go Balor" and "Fight Owens Fight!" dueling chants break out as Owens beats down Balor with a ladder in the ring. He slams Balor onto the ladder now and hits a senton splash on top of him for good measure.

Balor reverses a powerbomb attempt from Owens, essentially back-body dropping Owens on a ladder that was not laying flat, but on its' side, in the ring. Ouch. Owens follows that up by cannon-balling himself into a ladder in the corner of the ring.

Balor goes to the top rope and hits his double foot stomp finisher on Owens. Balor sets the ladder up in the ring under the belt as Owens is laid out next to him. As Balor climbs to the top, Owens gets back to his feet and yanks him off with a big powerbomb. Both guys are down now.

"This is Awesome!" chants break out now as both guys start to show signs of life. Owens slowly climbs up the ladder but Balor lifts the ladder up and pushes it over, knocking Owens off and smashing him into the corner with the back of his head slamming into the turnbuckle, whiplash style.

Owens wedges a ladder like a bridge on the bottom of a ladder standing up under the belt in the center of the ring. Owens tries suplexing Balor off the one ladder and onto the bridge ladder, instead, Balor shoves Owens backwards and Owens lands on the bridge ladder. Owens momentum takes him off the bridge, so Balor hits his double foot stomp off the top of the regular ladder. He climbs back up and takes the title down. Balor wins and retains.

Winner and STILL NXT Champion: Finn Balor
