NXT TAKEOVER: STAND & DELIVER RESULTS

McKenzie Mitchell, Beth Phoenix and Sam Roberts welcome us inside the American Airlines Center, as the pre-show for the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver special event is now officially underway.

The Kickoff Show for the NXT 2.0 live event as part of WrestleMania 38 Weekend kicks off with the aforementioned trio welcoming us to the program and then they immediately begin running down some of the scheduled matches for the show.

After running down the lineup as the official match graphics flash across the screen, we see Bron Breakker arriving live at the arena earlier today. Also shown is Tommaso Ciampa arriving to the building. Once the Ciampa arrival footage airs, the trio begins looking at the tale of the tape for his match against Tony D'Angelo.

From there, we are sent into our first of several elaborate pre-match video packages that tells the story leading up to a given bout on the show today. The first video package looks at the build-up to the four-way NXT Women's Championship showdown.

Now we return to the pre-show trio, who sends things to Kayla Braxton and Peter Rosenberg. The duo are outside the AT&T Center in Arlington, TX. and they give their thoughts, analysis and insight into the aforementioned four-way women's title match.

Braxton and Rosenberg then send us back to the American Airlines Center, where Mitchell, Phoenix and Roberts pick up where they left off, giving their own thoughts on the four-way title bout.

Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai take on Toxic Attraction later on in this pre-show, and that's what the pre-show panel transitions into next, as they flash the official match graphic across the screen to remind fans that championship action is just minutes away here on the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Kickoff Show.

The panel sends us into a quick commercial break, as we see footage of Kevin Owens' initial call-out of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for The KO Show at WrestleMania 38: Night 1. The video package for The KO Show segment now airs to promote it.

Once the promotional video wraps up we shoot to another earlier today segment, which shows Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes. Then we shoot to footage from moments ago as a referee is shown talking to Williams and Hayes backstage about the rules for the ladder match for the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver show.

We return to the panel, who begins running down the LA Knight vs. Gunther match scheduled for today's show. The tale of the tape is shown and then the trio give their thoughts regarding the bout.

Malcolm Bivens joins the gang on the pre-show panel live in the arena and then we shoot to a quick backstage segment outside of the Toxic Attraction locker room for an April Fools joke segment.

Back inside the arena, the panel gets us ready for our lone pre-show bout here on the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Kickoff Show.

Beth Phoenix mentions that it's time to get herself ready for commentary for the NXT Women's Tag-Team Championships. As she heads down to the commentary desk, the pre-show moves to an earlier today segment featuring Grayson Waller.

We shoot to a quick commercial break and then we return to an earlier today segment featuring Santos Escobar and Legado del Fantasma. Escobar talks about why he's going to win the NXT North American Championship in the ladder match on today's show.

Heading back inside the arena, we shoot back up to the pre-show area where Sam Roberts and McKenzie Mitchell are joined by NFL great Akbar Graja-Biamila. He helps the duo set up our next video package, which looks at Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell getting Lumis ready to be the "sexiest cowboy in Dallas."

Duke Hudson and Persia Pirotta show up and claim that Hudson will be the sexiest cowboys in Dallas. Pirotta and Hartwell each try and get their man in cowboy gear to be the sexiest in Dallas for NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

Back inside the arena, the pre-show duo along with the aforementioned NFL great run down some more matches and introduce the final pre-match video packages to tell the stories behind the rest of the card.

NXT Women's Tag-Team Championships
Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai vs. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne (c)

Things are sent down to the ringside area where Wade Barrett, Beth Phoenix and Vic Joseph are ready at the commentary desk for our lone bout on the official pre-show for today's special.

Out first comes the challengers, as Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai make their way to the squared circle for this title showdown. As they settle into the ring, their music fades down.

Now we hear the familiar sounds of the entrance music for Toxic Attraction duo Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. The champs make their way to the ring and settle inside as well.

With all four competitors now ready to go, the bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this pre-show match. Jayne and Gonzalez kick things off for their respective teams, with Jayne bum-rushing Gonzalez and attacking her injured knee to get her team off to a good start.

After some back-and-forth action we see Kai and Jane as the legal two in the ring, they each land a big shot at the same time and both end up laid out as a result. The crowd breaks out in a loud "NXT! NXT!" chant as the arena is still filling up but slowly getting more and more full.

The action continues as Jane and Kai work their way back to their feet. Jane goes back to work on Kai and puts her down for a close near fall before tagging in Dolin.

Dolin hits the ring and picks up where Jane left off. The two hit a double-team spot on Kai and then Dolin continues to go to work on her. The commentators put over Kai for her ability to avoid being put away.

After some interference outside the ring from Wendy Choo, who splashes a drink into the eyes of one-half of the tag-champs, we see Kai and Gonzalez end up in the offensive driver's seat. Gonzalez hits her finisher and scores the pin fall. We have new NXT Women's Tag-Team Champions.

Winners and NEW NXT Women's Tag-Team Champions: Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez

After a quick commercial, we shoot to an earlier today segment that shows Cameron Grimes walking outside. He talks about a promise he made to his father to become a champion. He promises his dad he is taking the North American Championship to the moon.

We return to the duo of Kayla Braxton and Peter Rosenberg who are seated outside of the AT&T Center. The two run down their thoughts on the main event of the special event this afternoon between Dolph Ziggler and Bron Breakker.

When they wrap up, they send us back inside the American Airlines Center for the last couple of minutes of the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver pre-show.

The NFL great and WWE pre-show hosting duo of Sam Roberts and McKenzie Mitchell give their thoughts on the main event as well. They also give their thoughts on some other bouts on the show in their "one to watch" promotional segment.

NXT North American Championship Ladder Match
Santos Escobar vs. Grayson Waller vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Cameron Grimes vs. Carmelo Hayes (c)

We see the start of the ring entrances for our opening bout on the main card for the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver special event. After Santos Escobar makes his way out, we see the start of Grayson Waller's ring walk as the live YouTube / social-and-digital media pre-show wraps up on that note.

It's time to switch over to the WWE Network on Peacock TV for the start of the main show. The NXT North American Championship Ladder Match kicks off a loaded Stand & Deliver show.

The elaborate cold open video package airs and then we see the Applebees presents Stand & Deliver opening credit as we shoot back inside the American Airlines Center.

Vic Joseph welcomes us to the main show here on the WWE Network on Peacock TV, as we get ready to head back to the ring for our NXT North American Championship Ladder Match.

We see Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett standing ringside as a couple of the competitors are already in the ring following their entrances at the end of the Kickoff Show pre-show

We head back to the entrance area as the theme for Cameron Grimes airs to bring out the fourth competitor in this five-person ladder match for the NXT North American title.

Once Grimes settles into the ring, out comes the fifth and final competitor -- reigning and defending NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes.

The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with our opening bout on the main show here at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. We see Trick Williams at ringside in support of Hayes.

All five guys collide and each are thrown out of the ring until only Hayes is left inside the squared circle. Sikoa ends up back in the ring and the two duke it out, with Sikoa getting the better of the exchange.

We see the rest of the guys recover and end up back in the ring as well. A few back-to-back high spots are shown and then Hayes runs and hits a springboard moonsault to take out some of the guys at ringside.

Grayson Waller emerges as the last man standing this time, and he prepares a ladder directly under the NXT North American title hanging high above the middle of the ring. He is stopped by Sikoa, who bashes him with the ladder after folding it up and using it as a weapon.

After some more action with the ladder being swung around like an enormous oversized steel baseball bat, we see Waller alone in the ring. He sets the ladder back up and begins to ascend until Hayes hits the ring and stops him before he gets to the title.

The two fight back-and-forth with Waller remaining half-way up the side of the ladder until Hayes runs and hits the ropes, using the momentum to leap into the air for a big clothesline that takes Waller off the ladder the hard way.

Sikoa returns to the ring and beats down Hayes and now he adjusts the ladder to make sure it's centered under the title. He begins his climb, but is ultimately stopped when Santos Escobar climbs up the other side.

We see Escobar and Sikoa trade shots until Santos does a flip over the top of the ladder and power bombs Sikoa onto a ladder that is leaning against the turnbuckles in the corner of the ring.

Some immediate replays are shown of that super high-spot. Santos ends up taken down when Cameron Grimes enters the ring and catches him coming off the ropes with a huge power slam.

Elektra Lopez and Legado del Fantasma are just some of those who end up interferring in the bout. Things finally return to normal form and we see all five guys climbing up three different ladders set up under the title in the ring.

One-by-one we see bodies flying off the ladders until Grayson Waller is the last man still up the side of a ladder. He sees an opportunity for a huge spot off the ladder but decides instead to attempt to pull the title down.

He is ultimately stopped by Escobar. The two are on opposing ladders that are side-by-side and Escobar ends up hitting a hurricanrana from his ladder to bring Waller off of his ladder the hard way. Escobar is stealing the show in this exciting opening contest.

Waller is back near the top of a ladder set up next to an even bigger ladder in the ring. He leaps from the ladder out to the ringside area, crashing through two or three ladder bridges set up across the ring apron and top of the barricade.

We see a bunch of replays of that incredible spot and then a Phantom Driver by Escobar leaves him the last man standing in the ring. Cameron Grimes re-appears and leaps off the top-rope to take out Escobar.

He then quickly heads up and immediately pulls down the title for the win. We have a new NXT North American Champion. Grimes made good on the promise to his father.

Two titles have changed hands in two matches thus far here at Stand & Deliver. Get ready for a busy two-day stretch here in the Dallas area for WrestleMania 38 Weekend, folks!

Winner and NEW NXT North American Champion: Cameron Grimes

Tony D'Angelo vs. Tommaso Ciampa

We see Tony D'Angelo pulls up in a car along with AJ Galante. They arrive inside the building and then exit the vehicle before making their walk directly to the ring for our second match here on the main show.

As the two settle inside the ring, the music fades down. Now one of the pillars of NXT begins to make his elaborate ring entrance.

We see a bunch of bodies emerging from the entrance way as shadowy figures while quick-cuts of past footage of Tommaso Ciampa in NXT is shown. Finally we hear "my time is now!" and the "Fight to Survive" theme hits as Ciampa makes his way out for this one-on-one showdown.

After some back-and-forth action following the sound of the bell, we see Ciampa pull into the offensive lead. He hits a couple of high spots and then comes close to finishing off D'Angelo, however ultimately he does not.

As the match continues, we see D'Angelo start to take over with the help of some distractions from AJ Galante and some use of weapons.

He pulls a steel bar out of the ring steps and hits Ciampa with it and a low blow that the referee doesn't see. He follows that up with his finisher but ultimately can't keep Ciampa down for the three-count.

Ciampa starts his fired up offensive comeback at this point. He hits a clothesline off the top-rope and then brings D'Angelo into the ring with a draping DDT-style spot.

He hits a big spot in the ring and then slaps a dangerous submission on D'Angelo that comes super-close to finishing him off, however he too ultimately hangs in there to keep this one going.

The action spills out to the floor and we see Ciampa end up laid out due to D'Angelo getting some more distraction help from Galante. This allows D'Angelo to plant Ciampa on concrete that was exposed at ringside earlier in the bout when Ciampa tore up the padding outside of the ring.

D'Angelo picks a lifeless Ciampa up and brings him back into the ring. He hits his finisher and then scores the pin fall victory. D'Angelo steps up to a whole new level now with this win here tonight against one of the all-time pillars of the brand. The crowd is dead silent for this.

Winner: Tony D'Angelo

After The Match: Triple H Gives Tommaso Ciampa Emotional Send-Off

Once the match wraps up, we see Ciampa get a standing ovation from the fans inside the American Airlines Center.

Ciampa looks emotional as he finally gets up and begins his exit of the ring before heading to the back.

As he nears the entrance curtain at the top of the aisle, we hear the familiar sounds of Triple H's theme song. The Godfather of NXT makes his way out in a suit to a big pop. He embraces Ciampa and gives him an emotional send-off as they turn and pose in front of the crowd one final time.

NXT Tag-Team Championships
The Creed Brothers vs. MSK vs. Imperium (c)

The Creed Brothers make their way out for our next match of the evening, which will be a three-way tag-team bout with the NXT Tag-Team Championships on-the-line.

We see the Creed Bros settle inside the squared circle and their music fades down.

Now the theme for MSK hits and out they come to a decent fan reaction. They bring a ton of energy to the ring and pose as their music fades out.

Finally, the familiar sounds of the entrance tune for the reigning and defending tag champs Imperium plays. They make their way out last for this three-way title showdown.

The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one. Early on we see The Creed Brothers faring well, as they take out both Imperium and MSK, however as the match sets into the next gear, we see the tag champs start to take over.

This doesn't last long though, as The Creed Brothers go back to their dominate ways, wrecking any-and-everything in sight in a good showing for the duo thus far.

After some more back-and-forth action, we see MSK fire up for an offensive run, which included a number of fast-paced high spots. They nearly finish this one off, but ultimately the match continues.

The Creed Brothers fight their way back into the offensive driver's seat and we see one of the Creed Brothers hit a crazy leaping cannonball onto a pile of guys on the floor.

Julius tags in and he and Brutus hit a high-impact double-team spot for a close pin fall, which is ultimately broken up to keep this match going.

Malcolm Bivens and Ivey Nile are shown looking nervous at ringside as the match continues. Imperium ends up fighting back into the lead and they manhandle The Creed Brothers with double-team action on the floor.

The tag champs head back into the ring and look to do the same to MSK, however we see Wes Lee and Nash Carter fight them off and hit their double-team finisher. They follow this up with a pin fall attempt, and they get the 1-2-3.

The trend of titles changing hands in every match thus far this afternoon continues, as MSK regains the NXT Tag-Team Championships in our third title change so far.

Winners and NEW NXT Tag-Team Champions: MSK

NXT Women's Championship
Io Shirai vs. Kay Lee Ray vs. Cora Jade vs. Mandy Rose (c)

After the pre-match video package telling the story leading up to our next bout wraps up, we head back inside the American Airlines Center for the ring entrances of the four competitors in this NXT Women's Championship contest.

With that said, Io Shirai, Kay Lee Ray, Cora Jade and current reigning and defending NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose make their respective ring entrances.

All four ladies are in the ring now and ready for action. The ring announcer handles the final pre-match ring introductions for this title bout and then the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running.

We see KLR jump off to an early offensive lead, taking it to the champ while Shirai and Jade duke it out at ringside. All four are on the floor now, with KLR and Rose battling on one side of the floor near the commentary desk, while Jade and Shirai fight things out near the entrance aisle.

Shirai and KLR leave their respective opposition laid out in the aforementioned spots outside of the ring, and then each heads back into the squared circle to duke it out among themselves.

We see a ton of high spots and hard-hitting impactful offense as the match reaches another level. This continues for several minutes until each competitor nearly scores the win. Ultimately, Mandy Rose scores the victory to retain her title in an excellent championship contest.

With the win, Rose becomes the first person thus far at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver to walk to the ring, and walk out, with her title in tact.

Winner and STILL NXT Women's Champion: Mandy Rose

InDex Crowned Hottest Couple Of NXT

We head to a quick backstage segment where InDex is crowned hottest couple in NXT over Dusia.

The duo won the competition with a fan vote of 89% to 11% in favor of the duo consisting of Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell.

After this, we head back inside the arena as we prepare for our next bout of the evening, which will be a non-title contest.

Gunther vs. LA Knight

The pre-match video package for our next bout airs and then we head back inside the American Airlines Center.

Gunther and LA Knight make their respective ring walks as we get ready for this highly-anticipated showdown.

The commentators talk about how tonight has not gone well for Imperium thus far, stressing the urgency that Gunther will be taking with him inside the ring.

We hear the bell sound and we're off-and-running with this one-on-one grudge match. Early on we see Knight faring well, however Gunther ends up taking over and going on a lengthy offensive streak of dominance.

The fans try and rally behind Knight to get him back into competitive form, however Gunther continues to dominate the action.

Knight fights his way back into the offensive driver's seat, including hitting a nice springboard dive onto Gunther from the ring apron.

The offensive run of Knight doesn't last for long, however, as Gunther quickly fights back into competitive form. He doesn't take over from there, however, as Knight continues to show signs of life and keep this one a close, back-and-forth battle.

We hear the fans cheering on Knight as he looks for a way to finish off Gunther for good, however he's going to have to dig deep into his bag of tricks to keep the Imperium leader down for good.

Gunther takes back over again and hits a big top-rope splash onto Knight. He follows that up with a big power bomb and immediately covers Knight up for the 1-2-3 and the win.

Winner: Gunther

NXT Championship
Bron Breakker vs. Dolph Ziggler (c)

After a quick commercial break, we head back inside the arena where Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett and Beth Phoenix send us to the pre-match video package for our final match.

The main event of the show for the NXT Championship is up next, as Dolph Ziggler defends the gold against former title-holder Bron Breakker in our headline bout here at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver -- and this match is coming up now.

We see Bron Breakker walking backstage and then a shot of Dolph Ziggler walking with Robert Roode by his side airs as we prepare for this headline contest.

In the arena again, we see both Breakker and Ziggler get elaborate over-the-top ring entrances for this NXT Championship main event.

With both guys in the ring, the bell sounds and we're off-and-running with the headline bout of what has been up to this point an excellent NXT 2.0 special event to kick off live action as part of WrestleMania 38 Weekend.

Early on we see Breakker absolutely dominating the offense, taking it to Ziggler in the ring while still managing to find time to keep Robert Roode at bay at ringside so that he is not a factor.

Ziggler ends up crotching Breakker on the top-rope to slow down his momentum. He follows that up with a backwards neck-breaker to bring Breakker off the top-rope the hard way.

Once Breakker slams down to the mat from the neck-breaker from Ziggler, "The Show Off" then slaps a rear chin lock / choke submission hold on him to slow him down even more.

Breakker tries fighting his way free and back to his feet, however as soon as he finally does, Ziggler snatches up his head and brings him down to the mat with authority with another backwards neck-breaker. Once on the mat, again we see Ziggler slap on a submission to keep Breakker down and grounded.

After dominating for another couple of minutes, we see Breakker finally start to fire up for an offensive comeback. He ends up beating Ziggler from pillar to post and nearly has him finished off after a big spear and follow-up finisher, however during the pin attempt, Roode yanks him out of the ring to break up the count.

Once on the floor, Roode tries to add insult to injury, however Breakker ends up getting the better of him, slamming him into the steel steps.

We see Breakker go from that to re-entering the ring, however he unfortunately walks directly into a FameAsser and Zig-Zag from the champ. Ziggler immediately goes for the cover from there, however Breakker somehow finds a way to kick out and keep this match alive.

The fans chant "F*ck you Ziggler! F*ck you Ziggler!" as the champ continues to beat down Breakker. He backs into a corner and begins stomping the mat ala Shawn Michaels setting up for his super kick finisher.

When he goes to march to Breakker to blast him with the kick, he lifts his head up after the last stomp and realizes Breakker has recovered and is glaring at him two feet away.

Breakker ends up getting ready to be-head Ziggler, yet somehow "The Show Off" manages to avoid the onslaught from the former champ. He blasts him with a super kick out of nowhere after sending him to an exposed turnbuckle that had the padding removed earlier in the match.

He then immediately covers him. 1-2-3. Ziggler wins. With the win, Dolph Ziggler remains the NXT Champion. Great main event.

The crowd actually popped as if the babyface won the contest, however it is heel Ziggler who retains. He is joined by Robert Roode for his post-match celebration as Breakker remains down and out.

Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett run us through some of the key highlights of the match, including the finishing sequence, and then we return live as Ziggler and Roode are heading to the back as Breakker recovers on the mat inside the ring with a look of disbelief on his face.

That's how the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver 2022 special event wraps up, as we head off the air on that note. Thanks for joining us!
