WWE NXT UK has consistently been one of the most solid wrestling programs in all of WWE over the last few weeks. On last weeks episode, newcomer Ben Carter picked up his first win on the show, defeating Sam Gradwell to do so. Another match that went down took place in the main event, when 4 teams competed in a number one contenders elimination match for the NXT UK Championship. The South Wales Subculture, The Hunt, Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith all fell in defeat to the eventual winners, Pretty Deadly. What will be going down on this weeks episode? Ilja Dragunov vs Tyson T-Bone
Two weeks ago on NXT UK, Ilja Dragunov defeated Jack Starz clean, and delivered a post-match beat down. After snapping, Dragunov seemed overcome with emotion, and apologetically checked on Starz. On last weeks episode, Dragunov sent out an apology message to Starz, before Tyson T-Bone walked through the back of the room, and called Dragunov a “loose cannon”. Will Ilja Dragunov force T-Bone to pay for his words? Or can Tyson T-Bone prove himself correct, and force Ilja to lose control again?
Cruiserweight Championship Open Challenge
NXT UK Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin has been one of the most dominant superstars on the roster since making his return to the ring. “The Irish Ace” has gone on a tear, on his quest to prove he is “the greatest performer under 205 in the company”. Devlin has been the Cruiserweight Champion for over a year now, winning the title at 2020’s War Of World’s, in a Fatal-4-Way match. On last weeks episode of the show, Trent Seven issued a warning about a future collision. Will Seven step up to the challenge tonight? Or will another competitor take on Jordan Devlin? Who knows, that’s the fun!
Xia Brookside vs Nina Samuels
Also taking place tonight will be a match from the NXT UK women’s division, where Nina Samuels will Square off with Xia Brookside. Xia is the daughter of NXT trainer Robbie Brookside. Back in November, Xia defeated Nina Samuels, and ever since then, Samuels has been running down the Brookside family. Will Brookside be able to defend the family name tonight, or will the “Leading Lady of NXT UK” Nina Samuels add injury to insult, and pick up a win over Xia?
