NY Giants Running Back Cam Skattebo Says WWE Is An Option Following NFL Career

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo appeared on Monday Night Raw late last year, engaging in a somewhat physical confrontation with WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio, that ended up drawing criticism from some people since Skattebo was injured at the time and in a walking boot, his NFL season having ended as a result.

However, Skattebo didn't shy away from the criticism, releasing a statement indicating that if anyone has a problem with him having fun, they could unfollow him on social media and simply move along. And now, it looks like he is opening the door for more appearances in WWE following his NFL career.

Speaking to TMZ, Skattebo was asked whether he could see a WWE career in his life after the NFL:

"There’s a chance. I mean, I feel like I’m a pretty good actor, so there’s a chance there. There’s a bunch of chances. I feel like I can do something outside of football when I’m done playing, and I’m not too sure where I’m going to go with that, but WWE is definitely an option."

He was also asked if he has any wrestling experience and noted that while he doesn't have official training, he grew up following the industry and that he could "absolutely" wrestle.

"Just growing up watching it, and then I had an older brother that was bigger than me, so his reach was always longer, so I never was able to punch him. It was just wrestling the whole time."
