NYS Places Attendance Restrictions & NYC Declares Emergency; WWE at MSG Affected

-- The Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, took action in the form of social distancing by prohibiting any gatherings which would consist of more than 500 people across the entire state of New York. This would mean WWE's return to MSG scheduled for March 22 is all but canceled, pending an official announcement from the company.

-- Meanwhile, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio declared a "state of emergency" across the city while also confirming that large venues like Madison Square Garden and The Barclays Center would be closed for "months" as officials rush to try and contain the coronavirus. The city now has 95 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 42 of them reported in the last 24 hours. More than 1,780 people are under voluntary quarantine in the city, with an additional 29 people under mandatory quarantine. By next week, the number of cases in the city is projected to rise to 1,000.
