Another Olympic gold medalist has made their official WWE in-ring debut.
At the WWE NXT non-televised live event on Saturday night, March 30, 2024 from the Melbourne Auditorium in Melbourne, Florida, Olympic gold medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock had her first match inside the squared circle for WWE.
Stock made history by winning the Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling at 68 kilograms in Tokyo in 2021, making her the first Black woman to do so.
She won her first WWE NXT house show match against BreAnna Covington on Saturday night. This starts her journey in WWE, where she claimed she hoped to make it to the main roster within a year after winning her second world championship in 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia.
