Former WWE Star and Divas Champion Paige, who has not competed inside of a squared circle since a WWE Live Event in late 2017 due to a spinal stenosis, revealed several days back that she will be leaving the WWE once her contract expires on July 7th as it was the WWE who decided to not renew her contract with them and not her.
Just days after news broke that she will be leaving the WWE once her contract expires, Paige has been booked for her first two post-WWE appearances. The World Association of Wrestling promotion, which is a promotion based in the U.K. run by the family of Saraya (Paige), recently announced that the former WWE Superstar will be appearing at their Frightmare IV Event on Saturday, October 15 from the Norfolk Showground in Norwich, England. This will be her first appearance for the promotion in over a decade. The last time Saraya (Paige) competed for WAW was on November 20th, 2011, when she, known at the time as Brittani Knight teamed with her mother Sweet Saraya to defeat Allison Danger and Liberty.
Starrcast Events also announced that Paige will be making an appearance at their Starrcast V Event on Friday, July 29th to Sunday, July 31st from the Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee. It has not been made clear yet what Paige will be doing at the Starrcast Event, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
