Pat McAfee Pays Tribute To The Late Great WWE Hall Of Famer “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig On SmackDown

As previously reported, "The Boss" Sasha Banks made her highly-anticipated WWE return on last night's SmackDown episode when she saved SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair from a double team beatdown at the hands of Carmella and Zelina Vega. Shortly after Banks made her return, the cameras cut to WWE SmackDown commentators Michael Cole and Pat McAfee, who previewed the remainder of SmackDown and also recapped Reginald’s WWE 24/7 Championship victory from a few weeks ago on RAW.

Speaking of McAfee, he was wearing an attire that the late great WWE Hall of Famer “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig used to wear during his time in the WWE. McAfee also did the signature Mr. Perfect pencil flip that was countlessly talked about during the olden times.

Shortly after SmackDown came to a close, McAfee took to Twitter and revealed he was definitely paying tribute to an absolute legend in Curt Hennig in Minnesota since Mr. Perfect comes from Minnesota, and that is where SmackDown was held.

“Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig was inducted into the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame, four years after he tragically passed away at the age of 44.
