Pat McAfee, Triple H Twitter Exchange Following First Day On The Job For Former NFL Player

Pat McAfee and Triple H had a Twitter exchange following the first night on the job as the newest addition to the commentary team for WWE Friday Night SmackDown by the former NFL player and podcast personality.

As noted, McAfee initially took to Twitter to comment on being announced by WWE as the new commentary partner for Michael Cole for the weekly WWE on FOX blue-brand program.

"It's a dream come true [and] an absolute honor to be here on SmackDown," wrote McAfee via Twitter.

In response to the tweet, following Friday night's broadcast, WWE executive Paul "Triple H" Levesque took to Twitter to congratulate McAfee on his first day on the job.

"A man of many talents and a drive to make anything possible," wrote Triple H. "Congratulations to Pat McAfee for his first night on SmackDown commentary! #FirstDayOnTheJob #PatsUpToSomethin."

The newest addition to the announce team for the WWE on FOX show then hopped back on Twitter to respond to the comments made by Triple H regarding his first day on the job.

"Thanks for the opportunity boss man," McAfee replied.
