Paul Heyman Talks The Possibility Of Launching His Own Podcast

Pro wrestling legend and the creator of ECW Paul Heyman recently appeared on the Sports Media podcast to talk about a variety of topics such as the possibility of him launching his own podcast. According to Heyman, he has been dabbling with the idea of launching his own podcast since 2010 or 2011 and was even inches away from doing one with Ariel Helwani and this was all before he returned to the WWE.

Heyman also talked about how they pulled out of launching his own podcast at the very last second and how he has come very close a couple of times in doing it, but would decide to not go through with it, despite the fact that a huge amount of money was being thrown his way about it as he always has a lot to say on any subject and it does no good to anyone to discuss any of it at this current time because it would cause too much of a ripple effect.

Paul Heyman said:

“I think I’m self-censored anyways, because there is so much to say on any subject and only so much time to say it. I understand that there is diplomacy involved in what I’d have to say, but I’d be honest and say, it does no good to discuss this at this time, because to get in-depth on this would cause too much of a ripple effect.”

“I would say, that if asked on a podcast, I have been dabbling with the idea of a podcast since probably 2010, maybe 2011, I was inches away from doing one with Ariel Helwani and this was before I returned to the WWE, he would cover mixed martial arts, and I would cover pro wrestling/sports entertainment and then, we’d switch during the podcast and show the other perspective. At the last second, we pulled out of that deal. I’ve come very close a couple of times and decided not to do it, despite an enormous amount of money being thrown my way about it.”
