Was it the plan all along?
That is the question everyone has wanted answered since the shocking events that transpired during the WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley at the WWE Royal Rumble 2022 pay-per-view.
During the bout, Roman Reigns interfered and took out "The Beast Incarnate" with a spear out of nowhere. From there, he directed Heyman -- who appeared to be fully aware and complicit with what was taking place -- to hand him Lesnar's WWE Championship. Heyman obliged and Reigns decked Lesnar upon standing up with a big belt shot that set up Lashley for the pin fall seconds later.
Ahead of this week's edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, the former advocate for Lesnar will apparently answer the question on everyone's minds -- which is a simple one.
Why?
On the weekly WWE on FOX show this Friday night, Heyman is promising to "reveal all."
"Is it really in anyone's best interest to post conspiracy theories like this," Heyman wrote via Twitter as a response to a photo of himself handing Reigns the WWE title at the Royal Rumble show as described above, which features a caption that reads, "Was this Roman Reigns' plan all along?"
The special counsel to "The Head of the Table" continued, "Instead of merely enjoying the anticpation until I reveal all on tomorrow night's WWE SmackDown LIVE on FOX."
