Penta's Match & Promo Reportedly Ran Long; Backstage Reaction From WWE Officials & Other Wrestlers

-- Penta El Zero Miedo debuted for WWE last night on Raw, wrestling as "Penta" and defeating Chad Gable. Following the match, Penta cut a promo with the match and the post-match segment running almost 15 minutes in length.

-- PWInsider.com reports that this time went "way longer" than what was initially booked for the match and segment to, and it led to other segments seeing their run times cut. The talent involved in those trimmed segments were reportedly not happy about it, however, WWE officials were said to be pleased with Penta's debut and the reaction he received from the live audience. As well, WWE began selling Penta's merchandise last week ahead of his first match and the early indications are that the merchandise is moving well.

-- For those wondering, towards the end of the match and following it, Penta was selling a left knee injury and as it turns out, there is no legitimate injury and he was simply selling it after getting it targeted during the match.
