This past Monday night's episode of RAW saw WWE United States Champion Riddle successfully defend his WWE United States Title against the leader of RETRIBUTION in Mustafa Ali. The finish of the match saw T-BAR distract the referee, but it back-fired as Riddle still ended up getting the win.
Mustafa Ali then took to Twitter and posted a video, where he blamed his loss to RETRIBUTION and then challenged Riddle to one more match for the WWE United States Title at Sunday's Fastlane. Mustafa Ali said: “Riddle, that’s one match a piece.” “So I say we do it one more time this Sunday at Fastlane, for the United States Championship. Maybe someone will actually follow orders!”
As of this writing, Riddle has yet to respond to Ali's challenge nor has the WWE confirm the match or made it official.
WWE's Fastlane PPV is set to take place on Sunday, March 21st from WWE Thunderdome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida and will be the final PPV before WrestleMania 37.
