Did Paul "Triple H" Levesque share a super-disguised tease for night two of WrestleMania XL?
Ahead of the second and final night of the two-night WrestleMania XL premium live event on Sunday night, April 7, 2024, from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA., WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque surfaced on social media with some promotional material.
The WWE CCO posted a promotional video package for the Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes II rematch for the WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship in tonight's night two main event under Bloodline Rules.
"Their story has captivated an entire industry for over a year," Levesque wrote as the caption for the video. "Tonight, they main event the biggest WrestleMania EVER. No matter the outcome, after tonight… nothing will be the same. Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes, TONIGHT at WrestleMania XL Sunday 7e/4p on Peacock."
PWInsider.com pointed out that Paul "Triple H" Levesque made the post on X at exactly 3:16pm, which could be purposely done with rumors of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being involved in some form or fashion in the main event.
This was reportedly foreshadowed by Rock's bloody beatdown of Cody on Raw in front of a WWE production truck that featured Steve Austin and John Cena.
With tonight's bout being contested under Bloodline Rules, involvement from The Rock is expected. Whether or not "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and others get involved on Cody's behalf to even the odds of justice in a surprise appearance remains to be seen.
