Charlotte Flair removed herself last week from the upcoming WWE Survivor Series WarGames women's match, citing her differences with Rhea Ripley as the reason she couldn't team up with her.
While no replacement was named or immediately obvious, it appears we now know who that could be.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Live, host Bryan Alvarez indicated that AJ Lee will be filling the spot vacated by Flair, joining Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY and Alexa Bliss to take on Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka and Kairi Sane. Alvarez added that WWE is still going to be adding people to the match, surely one member to each team to bring it the traditional five-on-five WarGames style bout.
Interestingly, it was reported earlier today that AJ Lee is backstage at tonight's WWE Raw so a logical assumption is that her inclusion into WarGames will be made official tonight.
