It was previously reported that the WWE Icons documentary on Lex Luger was set to premiere on Sunday, July 4th on Peacock and the WWE Network, but the WWE Icons documentary on Lex Luger will no longer be airing later on today as sources within the WWE have indicated that the show has been pushed back for a stronger lead-in program to air prior to the premiere, though a new date has yet to be announced.
According to WWE, the WWE Icons docuseries explores the life stories of the industries’ greatest Hall of Famers and Legends. The first three episodes covered Yokozuna, Beth Phoenix and Rob Van Dam, while the final episode of season 1 of the WWE Icons docuseries will cover The British Bulldog.
The WWE Icons episode on Lex Luger reads, “The next installment of the acclaimed docuseries takes you inside the life and career of The Total Package as he reaches the height of sports-entertainment success and overcomes deep, personal tragedy.
