Pro Wrestling Veteran Set To Make WWE NXT Debut On Next Week’s Show

During last night’s WWE NXT Revenge Week Two special, a vignette teased the arrival of Lizzy Rain, formerly known as Rayne Leverkusen, set to debut on next week’s show. Although Rain technically made an appearance at NXT Vengeance Day during the NXT Underground match between WWE NXT Women's Champion Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan, she was not mentioned by name. She confirmed her new ring name last week.

Rain participated in WWE Tryouts held during SummerSlam weekend last August. She was recognized as the MVP of the tryouts and is believed to have signed a contract with the promotion this past February after attending two tryouts last year.

Having wrestled professionally for four years, Rain has competed for various promotions, including PROGRESS, Hustle, Pro Wrestling EVE, Revolution Pro Wrestling, and Sendai Girls, among others. She is a former PROGRESS Women’s Champion, a former EVE Tag Team Champion, and a two-time Hustle Champion.
