In the 18-49 demo, NXT also slipped to a 0.21 rating compared to 0.23 the week prior. Competition was stiff on Tuesday night with both the opening night of the 2023/2024 NBA season as well as well as the MLB NL Championship series. Those games as well as related sports programming all finished ahead of NXT on the cable charts.
-- Wednesday's AEW Dynamite meanwhile drew 774,000 viewers and a 0.24 rating in the 18-49 demo. That is the lowest viewership on a regular Wednesday night for the show in well over a year. Dynamite went up against the NBA for the first time since June but did not have to contend with any baseball playoff games.
