— Sami Zayn was not on Smackdown last week with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro because he decided not to be there, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He was originally scripted into the show, but exercised his option to not travel and attend, as everyone in WWE has been given the freedom to do. It's unclear if Zayn will be back for tonight's show or if he's decided to stay at home for the next little while.
