-- Rey Mysterio missed last night's WWE Monday Night Raw where he was scheduled to wrestle a match against Veer Mahaan. On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Mysterio missed the show due to a "medical issue" causing him to be unavailable and nothing to do with WWE advertising a match and simply choosing to not deliver it. Due to the absence, the scheduled match was changed to Mahaan against Rey's son, Dominik who was subsequently beat down. Meltzer speculated that when Mysterio is medically cleared, WWE "could probably do (the match against) Rey in a week or two."
-- The match above was not the only one changed. As previously reported, the women's tag team match wasn't able to take place due to Rhea Ripley being "in protocol" though there's no word on the specifics of what that means - whether it is concussion protocols, COVID protocols or something else.
