-- On Friday, May 28, when WWE Smackdown and AEW Dynamite both aired on the same day in Canada as well, Smackdown drew 167,000 viewers - lower than usual - and Dynamite had an audience of 109,400 - higher than normal. Both shows went against the NHL playoffs which are huge in Canada. WWE Raw drew 163,000 viewers, a big drop from usual weeks, but that’s because it was going up against Game 7 of the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens series which drew 4.8 million viewers. To put that into perspective, taking the population of the country into account, that would be the equivalent of a show doing 43 million viewers in the United States. NXT bombed in viewership, drawing 34,000 viewers despite airing live and against no wrestling competition.
