A former multi-time WWE champion could be on her way to AEW soon.
Isla Dawn, who has held both the WWE Women's Tag Team title as well as the NXT Women's Tag Team title is expected to join AEW according to a recent report from WrestleVotes. The report noted that AEW is "heavily interested" in Dawn to the point where she was backstage at a recent show. The belief is that Dawn will begin working AEW shows in the very near future.
The 31-year old was released from her contract with WWE in February and then waited through a 90-day non-compete clause which ended up in May. She spent seven years in WWE, culminating with a WWE tag title reign with her partner Alba Fyre where they formed The Unholy Union.
