While this will no doubt get the rumor mill going, Punk was only there briefly since the show is taking place pretty much in his hometown of nearby Chicago.
-- There is no word on if Punk was there to visit someone specifically, but according to sources, he did briefly see Paul "HHH" Levesque, which would have been the first time the two have met in person since the day Punk decided to walk out of WWE in 2014. He also met up with other WWE wrestlers but was ultimately asked to leave the venue, perhaps due to being under contract to AEW. The report added that the request for him to leave was a Vince McMahon call and Punk obliged by immediately saying his goodbyes and exiting the building.
