One of WWE's top stars could be on the verge of finally returning from an injury that has proven to be much more complicated than initially believed.
Bianca Belair, who has been out of action since WrestleMania 41 where she broke multiple fingers in a match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Belair recently shared that one finger was still not fully healed as she was unable to bend it but noted that she was on the tail end of her rehab.
The WrestleVotes account is reporting that while Belair is obviously not on the SummerSlam card, she is "closing in on her return" and expected to be cleared for action next week. In what would probably be a best case scenario, Belair could make an appearance on WWE's Friday Night Smackdown following SummerSlam, which would be on August 9. The report stressed that Belair won't be cleared before this weekend so that would seem to suggest that she won't be getting physical at SummerSlam.
