-- WWE recently announced IMPACT Knockouts Mickie James for the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV. Fightfulselect.com reports that James isn't the only former WWE star that the company reached out as The IInspiration - formerly the IIconics - were also contacted and extended an offer to appear in the women's Rumble match. The former Peyton Royce and Billie Kay - the reigning IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team champions - reportedly declined the offer as they felt it wasn't the right time to make a WWE return of any capacity as they are happy with their current path in IMPACT.
-- Had the IInspiration wanted to participate in the Royal Rumble, sources note that IMPACT Wrestling would have approved that match just as they ok'd Mickie's upcoming appearance and WWE would have been fine working on similar terms as they have with that agreement.
