In what has been inevitable for months now, Joe Hendry's time with TNA appears over and he is on his way to WWE.
Fightfulselect.com reported yesterday that TNA sources have confirmed that Hendry is officially done with TNA. Not only has Hendry not been seen on TNA Impact TV for weeks, but he has been featured on NXT instead and that's because he is officially a WWE talent now.
Furthermore, Hendry is not listed internally for any appearance this weekend at upcoming TNA shows but he may make an appearance backstage to visit as he lives in the area. It appears that Hendry's departure became apparent when he was not booked for TNA's recent Bound for Glory PPV and he wasn't even backstage for it either which surprised a lot of people.
Meanwhile, the report adds that WWE sources have confirmed that Hendry is now full-time with the company and has been a target for them for a long time. NXT head Shawn Michaels has been vocal throwing his support behind Hendry and had been pushing for WWE to buy out the remainder of Hendry's TNA contract so he could officially sign a WWE contract. That may have happened as there was believed to be a number of months left on Hendry's TNA deal.
