Report: LA Knight Agrees To Contract Restructuring Keeping Him With WWE For Multiple Years

-- 2024 has been the year of unprecedented contract talk within the world of pro wrestling and the news keeps on coming. This time, it's regarding reigning WWE United States Champion LA Knight who it appears will now be staying with WWE for a very long time to come.

-- According to a fightfulselect.com report, Knight was set to sign a new five-year contract in the fall of 2023 but that never happened as the two sides while in negotiations, were said to be far apart on financial terms. From then until now, there was nothing new to report and no new contract signed, however, Knight has now agreed to restructure his current agreement which will see him extend the length and get a significant raise as well. Under the new terms, he will be remaining with WWE for "a number of years."

-- Knight's deal was originally set to expire in 2025 and the report notes that significant time was added to that along with the deserved pay increase. While exact numbers weren't released, it would stand to reason that Knight is locked in with WWE for the rest of the decade. When negotiations came to a standstill at the end of 2023, Knight hired an agent to represent him in the process and discussions restarted around WrestleMania and evidently it only took a few months for the two sides to agree on the deal.
