— The Maria Kanellis pregnancy storyline is obviously going to lead to a reveal on who the father is but the plan is to build it as a mystery in hopes for a ratings boost, according to the Observer. According to some people, the program was described though more as a “running joke” internally than a situation where it will lead to a major reveal. While Rusev was implied to be the father by Kanellis, this doesn't appear as if it will be the way the story will go. The Observer also noted that it was probably just a way to get Rusev back on TV.
