-- It has been all over the news that several WWE superstars have contracts set to expire over the next few weeks and months with uncertainty surrounding almost all of them regarding whether they will stay with WWE or leave for employment elsewhere. According to a report released by pwinsiderelite.com, one WWE star is headed out and he's already informed the promotion of his plans.
-- According to the story, WWE's first ever Speed Champion Ricochet has given notice to company officials that he intends to exit the promotion when his contract runs out later this summer. The belief is that Ricochet will be written out of all WWE storylines on Monday Night Raw as his contract winds down.
-- In recent weeks, AEW superstar Will Ospreay has made a public pitch for Ricochet to bet on himself and lobbied for him to jump ship over to AEW so they could re-kindle some of their past great matches. Ospreay even went so far as to call WWE's use of Ricochet as "appalling" when they featured him on five-minute Speed matchups. Within WWE, at least one person said they were giving Ricochet "all the credit in the world for betting on himself", believing that he would immediately become a "hot commodity" once he becomes a free agent.
