In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that there is a good chance that WrestleMania is not the only place The Rock wrestles in 2024.
-- According to the report, there is an internal push to get The Rock to work at least one of the two shows scheduled for Saudi Arabia this year, with the 5/25 show being the more likely possibility. That event takes place the day before AEW's Double or Nothing. Previously, WWE sort of went back-and-forth with their WrestleMania 40 main event, initially planning for Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns, but pivoting to The Rock when it was clear he was returning before going back to their original plan.
-- During the initial planning changes, there were people who were always on the train of thought that Rhodes should get WrestleMania since he wa "promised" it and Rock should wrestle Reigns at one of the Saudi shows. The report adds that there are still a lot of variables and factors at play but the company would like it if Rock wrestled in Saudi this year.
