-- Kevin Owens recently re-signed a contract with WWE that will keep him with the company for another three years and at that time, there were rumors that his good friend Sami Zayn has also agreed to a deal. Reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter initially, it was thought that Zayn either signed or was close to signing owing to the extra TV time he was receiving.
-- Fightfulselect.com is confirming those reports and while terms of the new contract are not known, he is believed to be "locked down for several more years." Zayn apparently kept negotiations with him and WWE private but the company made it clear that they were looking to retain his services amid unofficial interest from both ROH and AEW, who would not comment publicly on a talent under contract to another promotion, but there was believed to be interest in bringing him on if he decided to leave WWE.
