Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling reports that multiple sources indicate the 2026 WWE Night of Champions Premium Live Event (PLE) is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th, in Saudi Arabia. However, there are rising concerns about the event's future due to the ongoing war with Iran.
Thurston's report also mentioned that Tom Brady’s flag football game, organized through WWE partner Fanatics, as well as Formula One events, have been moved from Saudi Arabia because of the situation. The Brady game was initially planned for later this month, and the F1 events were scheduled for April. Thurston reached out to WWE and Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority to inquire whether they were considering rescheduling or canceling Night of Champions but did not receive a response.
This news follows a report from last week stating that WWE has had discussions regarding its upcoming events in Saudi Arabia, prompted by the current conflict in Iran. The U.S. and Israel launched an attack on Iran on February 28th, escalating the conflict to other countries in the region after Iran targeted American bases and allies, including Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, WWE WrestleMania 43 is also scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia next year.
