Report: WWE Signs Former Tag Team Champions Demolition To Legends Contract

-- One of the most successful tag teams in WWE history that had been on the outs with the company for decades has signed a Legends deal, according to pwinsiderelite.com.

-- Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow - known together as Demolition (Ax and Smash) - have inked their Legends Deal after years of essentially being blacklisted due to a long legal battle between Eadie and WWE over the rights to the Demolition trademark. Both Eadie and Darsaw were then part of the CTE lawsuit against WWE that was ultimately dismissed. This comes just a day or two after WWE re-added the the tag team's profile back to the Alumni section of WWE.com.

-- Of course, with the signing of the Legends Deal, it opens up a very likely scenario that the team will finally be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame while also being included in licensing for action figures, video games and other merchandise. If inducted, they would surely go in as a tag team though each performer also wrestled as singles characters as well - Eadie as The Masked Superstar and Super Machine and Darsaw as The Repo Man.
