Report: WWE to Use NXT & Developmental Wrestlers in the Crowd for TV Events

-- According to a report by Fightful Select via F4WOnline, WWE will be using members of the NXT and Performance Center in the audience for tonight's Raw (as well as Friday's Smackdown) as they will try to mimic fans in the crowd. The report adds that as per an internal memo, the wrestlers or "audience members" will be intentionally kept off camera but their interactions would make for a "better environment." This would be the first time WWE has decided to use some of their talent in the audience but something AEW has already done with Dynamite and even Saturday's Double or Nothing PPV.

-- All talent that are to be used for this purpose were screened for COVID-19 sometime this morning at an off-site location before being transported back to the PC for the taping in a bus rather than in their own cars. A dress code was also in effect: black pants and black shoes and company provided t-shirts. Some of the names mentioned as being included as the "audience" include Dominik Dijakovic, Chelsea Green, Shotzi Blackheart, and Jessamyn Duke.
