During his recent chat with Cultaholic, retired professional soccer player Adebayo Akinfenwa revealed that he's had "conversations" with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. Adebayo also looked forward to the "next chapter" of his life, and more. Check out the comments from Akinfenwa below:
“There were conversations. There was truth in the conversations. My team sat down with their team. Me and Triple H had sent messages back and forth but these were times when I was 100% concentrated on football. Now I’m retired and I’ve said this, I was lucky enough to play for 22 years but now I’ve finished, I’m going to try my hand at as many different things and what lands, lands. I’m going to try and enjoy the next chapter of my life.”
Adebayo Akinfenwa is a three-time Player of the Year Award winner, with soccer clubs Torquay United, Northampton Town, and AFC Wimbledon.
