The Revival Reportedly Transitioning to Comedy Characters; Post Picture With AEW's Private Party

— The creative plan for The Revival is to turn them into “comedy characters”, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. While there are mixed feelings on this backstage by WWE officials (meaning it can still get scrapped), the spot where Dash Wilder tripped and fell during his ring entrance was supposed to signal the beginning of this transition. Both members of the Revival are down to the last few months of their WWE contracts and haven’t agreed to new deals despite being offered lucrative new contracts and while they haven't been as outspoken as of late, the duo had been dropping hints earlier this year that they were going to head over to AEW when their deals expired.
