- Rey Fenix has been on the sidelines for a short break from the ring as of late. The Lucha Bros star took some time off after being beaten up following a string of extra-physical in-ring performances.
In an update, the All Elite Wrestling star is scheduled to end the hiatus early, as he is already scheduled for an AAW show. Fenix will work the upcoming AAW event in Chicago, Illinois on May 6, 2023, as he takes on Gringo Loco in one-on-one singles action.
- In other news from the world of AEW, two men who could be on a collision course for an AEW World Championship showdown at AEW Double Or Nothing 2023, Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Sammy Guevara, had some fun over the weekend.
The two each had a "play date" for their cats. "Guess who had their first play date today?!?!?" wrote the reigning AEW World Champion in a tweet that included photos of himself and "The Spanish God" with their feline-friends. Check out the photo below.
