WWE Network news issued the following press release announcing that a new Chronicle documentary featuring current United States champion Rey Mysterio will air next Saturday, one night before the TLC pay per view from Minneapolis. Check out the details below.
A new edition of the popular Network series will be airing next Saturday on December 14th, just one night prior to the TLC event. And the subject of the special will be legendary luchador and former multi time World Champion, Rey Mysterio. Mysterio recently captured the United States Championship on RAW.
WWE Chronicle, for those unaware, is a WWE Network documentary styles series similar in vein to several others. The kicker with Chronicle, however, is it often times blends kayfabe and reality. This isn’t always the case, but if a special is highlighting a star ahead of a big match, chances are kayfabe elements will exist. Again, this special will air on Saturday, December 14th.
