Rhea Ripley makes her return to NXT on tonight's edition of NXT on USA Network during the NXT Women's Championship bout of Charlotte Flair vs. Io Shirai. Flair ultimately got disqualified as she pulled a kendo stick from beneath the apron, attacking Shirai.
Ripley comes in for the save on Shirai, going after Flair whom she hadn't seen since Wrestlemania 36 where Ripley lost her title to Charlotte Flair. During an interview after the match, Ripley stated, "Yea, she beat me at Wrestlemania. That was only one match, I would like to see her do it again!"
