Rhea Ripley has lost a close member of her family.
The SmackDown Women's Champion took to social media this weekend and wrote about the passing of her grandmather, whom she paid tribute to on SmackDown with a "NONNA [heart]" on her cheek.
"Thursday night I lost one of my favorite people," Ripley wrote via Instagram. "Nonna, Im going to miss your strong loving hugs and your little sassy cheeky attitude."
Ripley continued, "It’s so hard saying goodbye, but being able to see you again in February was the highlight of my year. I miss you and I love you with all my heart."
