During Saturday's WWE Night of Champions 2025 premium live event, "The Eradicator" Rhea Ripley defeated Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight. Ripley secured her victory by executing a Riptide off the top rope while standing on a table.
After the event, Ripley appeared on the WWE Night of Champions post-show, where she discussed several topics, including an injury she sustained during the match. She was visibly holding her ribs during the interview and explained that they got bruised after Rodriguez struck her with a kendo stick. However, she reassured everyone that she didn't believe it was a severe injury.
When Jackie Redmond asked Ripley about her goals moving forward, she emphasized that she is just getting started.
