Prior to Rhea Ripley's success in the WWE, she used to have a long, blonde hair and she didn't get as much over as she wanted to. Ripley then competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic Tournament with a huge change and transformation to her appearance as she cut her hair really short. A fan account of Ripley posted an old picture of The Nightmare, who is also one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions on Instagram and asked the question, "What if Rhea Ripley kept her long hair?"
The Nightmare then responded to the Instagram post and said she would have been fired, which a number of fans wanted to know further details of, but Ripley did not give an answer.
