Ric Flair Reveals He Is Very Happy With How His Last Match Turned Out

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair competed in his last pro wrestling match at the Ric Flair’s Last Match PPV Event last July 31st from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, when he teamed with AEW Star and his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to battle fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett and AEW Star Jay Lethal in Tag Team action. The match ended with The Nature Boy and Andrade getting the win after Flair forced Jarrett to submit to his figure four maneuver. The Ric Flair Last Match Event was a big success as it drew a gate of over $448,000 and pulled in over 24,000 buys on PPV.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke with Lucha Libre Online on his last match and said that he is very happy with how it turned out, but he feels like he did not go out the right way and due to that he thinks he needs one more match especially with the relationship he now has with Andrade.

Ric Flair said:

“I’m very happy with it. I needed to give it one more shot. I feel like I didn’t go out the right way, and to have the relationship now that I do with Andrade, with Charlotte, to have a son-in-law like him to be a tag team partner, for him to tag with me and have the whole family there and his family, who I’ve gotten to know well, it was big for all of them. It was especially big for me because my entire family was there and the only person to get an opportunity to do that twice. Once in 2008 with Shawn Michaels and now with my son-in-law in Nashville, it was big.”
